Milwaukee V28 Combo Kit 0928-92 Review

In January 2005 was acquired by Milwaukee Techtronic Industries. This was done through buy-out 3 years ago. We thought we gave them enough time to cycle their tools by their distribution channels and fills it with the new tools in the new company. So we wanted to run the tools through a new set of power tools and tests to see whether their quality has changed. This article will cover what is in the package and give a quick overview of the power tool. In the next power tool reviews, weMilwaukee V28 covers each in detail.

The Milwaukee V28 Combo Kit comes with a nice selection of professional power tools. Below mentioned tools that come to power in Milwaukee's V28 combo kit.

Rotary Hammer - 1 / 23 (0724-20), when we first took the Milwaukee hammer drill, we noticed this exercise had great balance with food and battery. This is very important so that your hand and arm fatigue does not have half-way all day. The lining is beautifulas is usually the case with professional power tools. It has kept Carbide jaws with a lock on the bits in place. Milwaukee States this drill has an impressive 600lbs. Torque. The idle speed is 0-600 and 0-1800 RPM. The BPM is no load 0-9000 and 0-27000. If you pick up drill, it's like pick up springs, since it only weighs 4.4lbs.

Kreissäge-6-1/23 (0730-20) This is a very light looking at a weight of only 7.1lbs. Very easy to maneuver and fun to use. TheBalance on the saw seemed great when we first selected. This circular saw features a 4,200 rpm.

Sawzall-(0719-20) As you all know that we are willing to love the Sawzall, and this model is no different. Milwaukee has everything she knew about the cable Sawzalls and submit them to the V28 Sawzall. It has the Quik-lok blade system. One thing that we'll let you know is that we tested against the corded version of the Sawzall, and we were very surprised and impressed, but you can read about this in our V28Sawzall power tool review on the doorstep.

Work Light (49-24-0185) Milwaukee includes a large work light, run over 5 hours on a battery. The head rotates 140 degrees. Over all, the brightness of the light is great, the light is not, so that the light is a little yellowish, not to complain but, as is the light of each project. A special feature we have noticed off the bat, the on-off switch was. It is a beautiful button you move to turn on the light. This is much better thanthe push-button switch as a button switches off whenever you move or they fall, or they employ when you throw them in your pocket and help you burn the battery.

Charger The charger in the combo kit is nice because it more than just the 28V lithium battery charges. This charger can also lithium-18V and 18V Nicd. This is not as important, perhaps, but we have all experienced when we have too many chargers and not enough room for everything else. Now we can useMilwaukee several instruments, but only have a charger plugged in the charger is also lithium batteries in about an hour and NiCd charge in about 40 minutes.

2 V28 Lithium-ion batteries - The combo kit comes with two lithium-ion batteries, a nice feature, since these batteries are expensive. One point we are looking forward to the cold test. Over the years we have heard and read a lot of bad publicity for these batteries, not only the Milwaukee lithium batteries, but all the LiBatteries in general. A knock is that they do not work when they are cold. In our test, we will simulate leave them in the fridge overnight to leave the batteries out overnight.

The Milwaukee V28 combo kit also includes:

Clip-Lok System
Side Handle
6-1/23 24T Carbide Blade
# 2 Philips bit
Parallel
Contractor Bag
2 Sawzall Blades
Overall, we love the feeling of the Milwaukee V28 system. We will by the votes of the individualPower Tool up short, so check back at our power tool reviews!
